In a moment of conviviality and togetherness, Twitter237 came together to show solidarity to our armed forces in the north area fighting terrorism.
Before BH became synonymous with Boko Haram, it first was and still is an unforgettable moment in every Cameroon child's life. BH or Beignets Haricots is our childhood, it is a very integral part of our lives and mamis beignets in the quartiers and schools are long loved for their contribution to our satisfaction.
Today at about 3pm Cameroon time, images, drawings, postings were shared online by young Cameroonians at home and abroad and including us depicting our stance and tolerance to BH and terrorism with the hashtag #237VaTchopBH.
It was certainly a great initiative and campaign during this very threatening and disturbing times. DC would like to take this opportunity to also thank the soldiers who are willing to lay down their lives for us so we can be safe. Thank you *hand to the side of the face* corporal salute.
Some postings from the initiative below...
Simultaneously, our Lions kick off their CAN 2015 experience tonight against Mali in Equatorial Guinea. We wish them well.
