Africa’s first and the most
technologically advanced aircraft Airbus A350 was landed in Douala on Sunday
the 17th of July 2016 by Ethiopian Airlines.
Douala is the Economy capital
of Cameroon and is one of the largest trade cities in Central Africa. Ethiopian Airlines operates regular flights
to and from Douala and Yaoundé and connects to several destinations in Asia,
USA, Europe and the Middle East.
Ethiopian Airlines, with its Pan African mission of connecting Africa
together and to the rest of the world, currently serves more than 50 African
cities, from Douala and Yaoundé.
With the Airbus A350 landed in
Douala, passengers to and from Douala will enjoy the extra features of this
latest technology aircraft ahead of other major destinations in Europe, the
Americas and Asia. The aircraft provides passengers extra comfort with its
wider seats in both Business and Economy classes, the lowest twin engine noise
level, advanced air conditioning technology, full LED mood lighting and
in-flight entertainment system.
Prior to its arrival, some
premium clients, high profiled officials, influential media professionals were
invited to welcome this prestigious new acquisition at the Douala International
airport.
