Hold up hold up!! Another new retail spot has finally hit Douala town after it was opened yesterday in the Bessecke area which connects Bonanjo and Bonapriso.
L'ATRIUM, this 4 floor space said to be owned by a Dutch is apparently one of the biggest retail space in the Cemac region built at a cost of about $ 12,000,000.
Some have called it a mall (shopping center or precinct in which one or more buildings form a complex of shops representing merchandisers with interconnecting walkways that enable customers to walk from unit to unit.) and others a hypermarket (a superstore combining a supermarket and a department store), images on social media show the grey and blue space as a contemporary building more akin to a business centre than shopping space but this is our view based on pictures only.
