DORIS NGANDJOU KOUYEM WINS THE HUMANITECH PRIZE!

It's so refreshing to see that Cameroonian women are not laying low in their passions. Only recently, Dorothée an IT passionista and reporter won the African FOSS Reporter Award 2012 in Abuja.

News out is that Doris Ngandjou Kouyem, a student at the ESSEC in Douala has just won the Humanitech challenge organised by "Casques Rouges" in France.

Though she was refused a visa by the French autorities to attend this competition and thanks to video conferencing, Doris was able to compete in the "Sanitaire & Social" category where she won the 5,000 Euros prize money with her invention, the "Tsé-Nou" filter which help combat water borne diseases such as Cholera and Dysentery.

We are very excited and pleased for Doris and hopes she is an inspiration to many. Let nothing hinder you to get to your dream is the moral to this story!

Stay sweet
