THE master of the jazz bass Mr Richard Bona, possesses a pure and sumptuous voice and a unique style situated at the crossroads of fast, skimming jazz, grooving afro-beat, whispered African folk song and explosive funk. Elegant, sensual, charismatic and with searing drive, Richard Bona and his uncannily tight sextet could not make an unmusical sound if they tried.
