The 4G battle between the 2 main internet providers in Cameroon started on December 16th when both Orange and MTN Cameroon updated their social media accounts respectively announcing the arrival of 4G connection to their followers and subscribers.
Debates and comments about the current sad state of connectivity from these 2 providers ensued from both providers' customers and the very next day Nexttel, another internet provider in Cameroon also had something to say...by using a very subtle but direct African parable as their thought for the day..."A lie can run for 15 years, [but] it only takes a day to reach the truth."
Nexttel also made sure they used the opportunity in their favour by also announcing that whilst they were not offering 4G connection, their 3G network was the best in Cameroon! So customers and potential customers...go figure who just won this battle!!
