THE MAKE-UP OF DYNASTIE LE TIGRE'S NEW ALBUM IS MORE THAN PAPOU, X-MALEYA AND MOUSTIK...

The much awaited album of the year by Dynastie Le Tigre entitled « La Loi De La Nature » the deluxe version is finally released and available on all distribution channels (physical, digital & mobile). The album contains 15 songs compiling the best singles from Dynastie Le Tigre, as well as some un-released songs such as « Prends soin d'elle (Remix) » a collaboration with the Togolese artist Papou, a socially conscious song entitled «SIDA» « Mani Kaaaka », some comedy inspired such as « Papa sors de la cuisine », love themed songs such as « Je confirme» and « Dingue de toi ».

Overall, the album « La Loi De La Nature Deluxe » will give you over an hour of listening pleasures at the heart, revisited and modernised African rythmns by Dynasty Le Tigre and his music team who thereby evoke new musical variations such as the Kwatt'Nb, the Ekang, some neo-Bikutsi, African dancehall, Afrobeat, afrohouse etc...

La Loi De la Nature Deluxe is also packed with collaborations, from the aforementioned Papou, to Michael Kiessou & Yvich (KDT), Stanley Enow (Prends soin d'elle), Moustik K-rismatik (Papa sors de la cuisine), Mimi Pary (Daddy Daddy), X-Maleya (Juste Un Peu) etc...

The album has been available since last weekend on all legal streaming and downloading platforms (iTunes/Apple music, YouTube, Deezer, MTNZik, Google Play, Tidal, etc). The offline release was celebrated last Friday by a concert and an album signing evening at the Cinéma Le Komo in Libreville (Gabon).

Dynastie Le Tigre will kick off a national and an international tour after attending the FestiBikutsi at the l’Olympia de Paris on July 10th. More surprises are also in store for us!

CHARMING SONGSTRESS SONYA KAY CHARMS HER FANS ON THE VIDEO OF HYPOCRITE...

Hope Music Group informs music lovers far and wide about the new release from their rising starlet SONYA KAY  entitled « Hypocrite»

Already available on audio across all digital platforms and partnering radio stations since February, this video has been highly anticipated by the public who are eager to see the coming together of some emblematic personalities, promoters of Cameroon culture such as Cyrille Bojiko, Berty Bertrand, Grégoire Piwele, etc.

"Hypocrite"; is the second single by Sonya Kay following “AVEC TOI” and her first under Hope Music Group. The song is a zouk song which was born at the Kado Mouna studios and is in collaboration with the “chanteur de charme” J-JACK. The single is released on the sidelines of her EP which is already in preparation and scheduled for the second semester of this year.

The video for "Hypocrite" is directed by the renowned and undisputable Dante Fox. In this high definition video, the viewer finds himself immersed in a story where we see a young girl surrounded by girls she holds dear in her heart, however the feeling is not mutual for these girls are envious of her and do not wish her well.

INTRODUCING HOPE MUSIC GROUP'S NEW GIRL KAYLA LYS ON NO EX VIDEO...

Hope Music Group informs culture and variety lovers of the release across all of the label’s digital broadcast channels of the first ever music video entitled « No Ex » by KAYLA LYS.

Available since the end of 2015, « No EX » is today one of the most anticipated music videos in the urban music world in Africa; due to the many icons from the milieu of sport, music and media who were mobilised and who supported the great campaign strategy for this project even before the audio itself was released.

« No EX » the inaugural single from Kayla is released besides her EP « Athéna» which is currently in preparation. YVICH, who joins her on this single is also a rising talent part of Hope Music Group who made his grand entrance into the music world through the single KDT (Kommen Danses-Tu); a collaboration with Michael Kiessou and Dynastie Le Tigre. He also released his single Parkinson last year which was very popular.

 

The music video for « No EX » bears the stamp of well-known production firm NS Pictures who have been a partner of Hope Music Group for almost three years. The scenario puts forward a young girl who decides to live her life as she sees fit without the hassles of her past and thus these « ex » who have caused her so much pain. She therefore consoles herself with her friends through festive sprees (la fiesta).

MICHAEL KIESSOU GETS HIS FACEBOOK PAGE VERIFIED...

Hope Music Group's Michael Kiessou singer of popular songs such as 'Wopalilo', 'Kommen Danses-Tu' and 'Lomdie' has finally joined the other Cameroon celebrities such as Samuel Eto'o, Stanley Enow to have a verified Facebook page a service which Facebook started two years ago to distinguish the official pages from the fakes.

Michael Kiessou also reveals the launch of EP album 'Partage' this 29th which will be distributed internationally by Sony Music via their French branch The Orchard. While we wait, let's still enjoy Lomdie...

LOMDIE; MICHAEL KIESSOU FEATURING LOCKO IN A NEW VOCAL MARRIAGE...

Hope Music Group presents "Lomdie" the seventh release from Cameroonian star Michael KIESSOU in a featuring with LOCKO of Big Dream Entertainment.

"Lomdie" involves a clever musical mix of the old ancestral African melodies with the new Afro urban.

The music video was shot in the western region of Cameroon, in the localities of Bandjoun, Baleng, and Bafoussam. "Lomdie" embodies the will of the artist Michael KIESSOU to highlight the traditional and cultural values ​​of the African continent. The visuals were directed by audiovisual firm NS Pictures currently considered as one of the best in Central Africa.

"Lomdie" in the Bandjoun dialect means "marriage" and in this song, both Michael KIESSOU and LOCKO promise marriage to their respective soul mates. The script is a short musical film that tells the story of a man that is ready for anything, even to sacrifice his full monthly pay to meet the expectations of his bride. "Lomdie" is a visual escape into the culture of the western highlands.

HOPE MUSIC GROUP'S YVICH RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR PARKINSON...

Yvich, the artist signed under Hope Music Group who recently collaborated with his label partner Michael Kiessou in Kommen Danse-Tu (KDT) is back with his second single entitled Parkinson a spin off his maxi single Jabea which is still under production.

Parkinson is a song which invites its listeners to put their problems aside and to enjoy life. The video is directed by Mr Adrenaline. Happy watching!!

MICHAEL KIESSOU, YVICH & DYNASTIE LE TIGRE KOMMEN DANSES-TU?!

The hot new music from Hope Music Group entitled KDT is a collaboration between Michael Kiessou, Yvich & Dynastie le Tigre produced by Mister Kriss for Ghetto Music.

KDT (Kommen Danses Tu) is a song of joy and cheerfulness, a song which aims to bring people together by inviting the masses through the four corners of the world to let go and let dance fusing different cultures through different dance moves such as the Zengue Moto, Bikutsi, Assiko, Gweta, Shoki, Coupé-Décalé and others. KDT is a rallying song that also aims to highlight cultural diversity and choreography in Cameroon.

The video released today May 21^st after the national day celebrations symbolises for Hope Music Group a time for unity and integration. 

The video was directed by Yaoundé based Adah Akenji who is a well-known name in the world of Cameroonian urban music and also the director of Wopalilo by Michael Kiessou.

SONY MUSIC FRANCE JOINS FORCES DIGITALLY WITH CAMEROON'S HOPE MUSIC GROUP RECORD LABEL

It was with great enthusiasm that Hope Music Group's CEO and music producer PhilJohn aka Philippe Nkouaya met with The Orchard representative Ben Olfield in Paris last week to seal a deal which will see them partner with Sony Music France for their digital distribution.

Therefore with great success, the music label's artists which includes Michael Kiessou, Kayla Lys, Yvich, Tyana will see their future projects handled by Sony Music.

It should also be noted that Stanley Enow also joined forces with Sony Music Africa via South African based Rockstar 4000 house which also counts Fally Ipupa as one of its proteges.

This great partnerships only shows the great development that has taken place within the Cameroon music scene in just over 2 years. Let the great times roll on!!

FROM REGIONAL BEAUTY QUEEN IN SPAIN TO MUSIC ARTIST FOR HOPE MUSIC GROUP...FIND OUT MORE!

 

Her name is Kayla Lys born Larissa Carmelle Carrilero in Douala to a Spanish father and Cameroonian mother. Her stage journey began from lending her face to fashion photographers to being elected at the regional beauty contest as Miss Murcia in Spain to singing in local choirs. Her encounter with Hope Music Group founder and producer Philjohn meant a new working partnership was sealed.

We caught up with her for a quick chat and this is how it went...

DC: Hello Kayla Lys, thanks for talking to us. How would your friends describe you?

Kayla Lys: Hello DC, they would say I am rather extroverted but cheerful, loving and a hardworker. Most of my friends and relatives keep telling me that I have the type of determination to achieve my dreams.

DC: What do you like to do when you are not recording?

Kayla Lys: I am usually working or studying (yes I still study lol!) but I love to hang out with my friends, go shopping, having fun and taking pictures. You just have to check my Instagram to see that I love pictures! I also love volleyball.

DC: Ok. So name three things in your wardrobe you cannot do without.

Kayla Lys: My HEELS! I'm so in love with shoes which I usually wear with lovely dresses.

DC: Being new in the Cameroon music scene, what do you think will make you stand out?

Kayla Lys: My love for everything that I do. I put all my passion to shine bright like a diamond as I truly believe we all have a light within us and it is our purpose to make it shine.

DC: Ok. So when did you first start to sing?

Kayla Lys: I started singing with a local church choir in Douala where I first discovered my real passion for music and I have been singing ever since till my record deal with Hope Music Group.

Far Away is the title of her debut song which will be released soon produced by Philjohn and co written by herself and label mate Yvich.

DULCE NEW VIDEO: WOPALILO BY MICHAEL KIESSOU FT C'PRIME

Hope Music Group's solo act Michael Kiessou was ready to pack it all up a few weeks ago following a release on his personal Facebook profile which saw him thank his fans for the support so far and informing them there would be no more music from him. According to his label, they informed the public that due to personal threats on his life Michael Kiessou had come to the conclusion that he could no longer go on but however they urged him to understand his new found position in the Cameroon entertainment scene and to move on in his music career.

So all was wiped off, Facebook post deleted and the drama forgotten! With all concluded, Michael Kiessou was back on track to promote his latest video to Wopalilo a collaboration with aMusic's C'Prime which sees him continue in his usual bensikin genre. The video shot by Adah Akenji released 2 days ago is available to watch below.
