THE YOUNG CAMEROON ACHIEVERS WHO MET QUEEN ELIZABETH II IN BUCKINGHAM PALACE...

THE QUEEN’S YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAMME DISCOVERS, CELEBRATES AND SUPPORTS EXCEPTIONAL YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH, LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY FOR HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN.

Last year, a search was launched to find exceptional young people to receive the first ever Queen’s Young Leaders Awards. Hundreds of applications flooded in from incredible young people all dedicated to making lasting change in their community and beyond.

And this was the joyous and unforgettable moment for three very talented and hardworking young Cameroonians as their blood, sweat and tears was celebrated by the most famous monarch in the whole wide world, her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in her Buckingham Palace home in London last night.

Alain Nteff, a 30 under 30 to watch Forbes Africa nominee who has won many awards as well as nominations on many lists for young achievers/game changers to watch - for his GiftedMom initiative was celebrating last night as he met the Queen and received his Queen's Young Leader Award.

Joannes Paulus Yimbesalu was also celebrating last night for his recognition on the education led initiative Hope For Children Cameroon (Hopefcc) which provides education to underprivileged children thus enabling them to maximise their full potential.

Mallah Enow Tabot has worked hard to improve the lives of many young women in Cameroon including those at risk of early and forced marriages. Her organisation, United Vision For Women uses theatre and art to engage communities and change attitudes. Mallah also wants to achieve better sexual and reproductive health for teenage girls.

The winners of this prestigious award also receive a unique package of training, mentoring and networking, including a one-week residential programme in the UK including collecting their award from Her Majesty the Queen. With this support, award winners will be expected to continue and develop the amazing work they are already doing in their communities.

ALAIN NTEFF FEATURED ON FORBES AFRICA 30 UNDER 30 FUTURE BILLIONAIRE LIST

This is the sort of news that makes us giddy well well when such young promising talents from Cameroon are recognised because they believed they could change the (their) world and they did!

Alain Nteff a 20 something year old knew he could do something to change the lives of many young and old mothers who due to lack of pre and post natal information were either dying or losing their babies and so the GiftedMom initiative was created. From then on, Alain Nteff's story has made news and history.

On Forbes Africa magazine's June issue released yesterday, Alain is featured with other counterparts on their front cover as well as on the prestigious magazine's 30 under 30 future billionaires list. Take a look!

Well done Alain! Instead of our youths to keep on complaining about the lack of jobs, they need to start creating their own jobs!

YOUNG CAMEROON FOUNDER HANGS OUT WITH BILLIONAIRE ALIKO DANGOTE

It is said you are known by your associations and so is true for the young founder Alain Nteff of award winning initiative GiftedMom which aims to contribute to pre and post natal care in Cameroon using mobile technology to improve maternal and infant health.

The young founder who is also coincidentally celebrating his 23rd birthday today January 23rd is currently hanging out with top guns; leaders and CEOs of the World's Top 1000 companies as well as the renowned Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote at the 2015 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland making him one of the youngest to attend earning him a featuring on the online Huffington Post site.

With so many youths crying out about the lack of jobs and opportunities, it is very refreshing to see such a young visionaire showing that anything is within your reach if you only try. We hope this serves as an inspiration to others.

Happy birthday Alain Nteff and may you soar even higher than what you believe you can.

We love this!!
