The 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow have come to an end. A few days ago we reported on the medals that Cameroon had won and so now that the games are over, how did we fare compared to the rest?
Well, the top 5 times were England, Australia, Canada, host country Scotland and India in that order. The bottom 5 were Ghana, Zambia, Barbados, Fiji and Saint Lucia in that order too. So where was Cameroon? Take a look below!
There was such a huge gap between the top teams and the bottom and Cameroon finds itself in 17th position with 7 medals in total; made up of - 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze. What would our Commonwealth committee make of this? Did we have a target amount to win? What facilities/assistance were made available to our athletes? Shout out to Nigeria who took home 36 medals including 11 Gold and were 8th on the chart.
