CAMEROON'S FIRST FEMALE PILOT

This is the finds of all finds for moi and I am sooo (see how I stressed this?) excited to tell you all about it because first of all as you know DC is run by females and we are from a society where women are always pushed to the background.

Now check this:-))

Christine Njeuma Cameroon's first female pilot in this male orientated profession was hired by Cameroon airlines in 2001 as a First Officer and flew the Boeing 737 regularly between Douala and Yaounde and Douala and Malabo in Equatorial Guinea.

She obtained her flying qualifications at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, FL) as well a Master's degree in Airlines Operations and Safety here too. Prior to this, she obtained a BA in French and Spanish at the University of Florida.

After working with Camair for nearly 4 and a half years, she moved to the Canadian Helicopter Corp as a Fixed Wing Pilot / Co Pilot on the Twin Otter DHC-6. Here she lasted nearly 3 years before moving back to Cameroon and working as the First Pilot aboard the Fokker 28 from early this year.

Wow wow wow...well done to her. Hoping to get her on DC for an interview as usual so watch this space!

Stay sweet (and be INSPIRED...think BIG....You can DO it)

From events in the Bible we can conclude that except if the dream concerns another person; do not share your personal dreams or dreams that foretell your grandeur to others for they will never understand. Very few people really ever believe in others. That is why if we ever rely on others to believe in us before we make the move of our lives we will never make that move because they do not. They wait to join us after we have converted our dream to reality.
