MOTHER'S LOVE BY DAPHNE IS AN INFECTIOUSLY BEAUTIFUL SONG. TAKE A LISTEN...

After her summer hit record “Gunshot”, Daphne is about to reintroduce herself on a new track. This song is different in many ways. It’s more Afrocentric. It’s mellow, yet has that dance feel to it. The lyrics are simple and continue to show Daphne as one of the best songwriters of her time. She takes an all too common theme and brings it to life on this track. Mother’s Love” will resonate with almost everyone.

Mother’s Love is an infectiously beautiful song. You will be hooked on first listen! “I reached out to one of the best producers in Cameroon to make this song…PhillBillBeatzThis song means so much to me. It’s with this song that my professional career in music took off. Just like my Mom gave birth to me, this song gave me a career.” Says Daphne

The No Hitz No Recordz ace producer is the architect of this great sound. He uses a heavy baseline, punchy kicks and great guitar strings that complement Daphne’s voice. For the message in the song, the music could not be any better. “PhilBillBeats in my opinion never fails” Daphne gushed.

This song speaks to all the mothers and the children that will always have a shoulder to lean on no matter how old they become. The lyrics are straightforward but Daphne succeeds in packing a lot of emotions into them. Daphne delicately sings in Pidgin, English, French and Bakweri. A mother’s love is so powerful that others may see it as controlling. Listen to it below...

FLASHBACK: STANLEY ENOW CONTINUES TO PROMOTE A CLEAR POSITIVE MESSAGE IN WORK HARD VIDEO...

Stanley Enow is an artist whose name always stirs up some kind of controversy or another amongst the Cameroon crowd but the young award winning, global brand endorsed, internationally renowned artist continues to forge on in his quest to promote a clear and concise positive message especially to his main target crowd – the youths of Cameroon and Africa in general.

Work Hard, the first video to be released from the newly launched #SoldierLikeMaPapa debut album has been online from last month and it has not been short of criticisms because it was shot in Paris by director Max Ngassa even though the video remains one of the best videos visually in Cameroon this 2015. While others criticised the location, others focused on the storyline which they believed should have depicted a rags to riches storyline. But by focusing on the success side of the story of this video; this is the clear message Stanley Enow is promoting:

1. Dream that anything on this Earth is possible and then some because everything is possible.
2. Aspire to develop yourself into the best you can be.
3. Challenge the status quo, take risks they are healthy and essential to get you to the best of you.
4. When others think one way, think and act 10 steps ahead. Do not limit yourself to another person's level of understanding or thinking.
5. Start with what you have and where you are, it was possible for the young artist to make it from Cameroon where the obstacles especially for a music artist are endless.

AN ONLINE STORE WITH VISIONS OF BECOMING AFRICA'S ASOS, THONBS NEEDS YOU!

Thonbs is an online brand store that sells to the middle class and gives to the needy. In this day and age, everyone should be able to get fashion they can afford at their fingertips and to their door in no time. The middle class in Africa is growing. The continent is producing talent and attracting investment. It's time fashion found its way there too.

The dream to provide quality affordable clothing for the middle class was only a seed in 2012. “I distinctly remember desiring to see young people like me able to afford the kind of clothing that was appropriate for work, weddings, night outs or casuals but also to give back to the community and make a real tangible difference.  In a nutshell the dream was to bring the high streets of Europe and the west within reach and not the other way round. We have achieved that with our regular circulating pop up shops and our online platform.” states Ella Chuwa, founder.

Thonbs now needs more than Ella can singlehandedly offer her and is now set to scale greater heights which she would like to help her get there by using the Kickstarter platform.

In a nutshell the money raised will help achieve the following:-

1) Employ 10 new workers in the Sales, Website CMS and logistics departments
2) Furnish and equip a 400m2 office space with showroom, styling consultation room, tea area and restroom
3) Delivery vans for logistics (not included in amount sought)
4) Website revamp, simplification and translation (English and French)
5) Addition of new suppliers/brands to our current offering (open to suggestions)
6) Marketing campaign including 2 pop up shops and runway shows

NEW MUSIC: JOUES MOI LE MENDJANG BY DYNASTIE LE TIGRE

A song which inspires pride and acceptance in one’s roots. Yes we would have loved to come from better but in the end, what we are is what we are, let’s just be proud! Watch the new video below...
