DULCE NEW: LOCK CHOU BY DUC-Z

Duc-Z made a lasting impression on the minds of Cameroonians with his very catchy and rhythmic "Je Ne Donne Pas Le Lait" which has now been engraved onto the Cameroon urban vocabulary and used by almost everyone. He then released "African Mamy" and we also accepted and got on the dancefloor to support our own and even the girls got hooked...African Mamy, tu as ce qu'il faut...he sang.

His sign up onto the Empire roster was announced with a "Je Ne Donne Pas Le Lait Remix" which saw him partner with Empire head boss Pit Baccardi and Singuila to a tune that was another club banger but with a controversial video due to the message it portrayed.

Fast forward to 2014, and here is another Empire led new music from the rising star. The video was shot by NS Studios. Watch and savour below...

Influenced by Christian musician Jeremy Camp, this Yaounde based Bamenda boy known as Chick Nick is making his entrance into the Cameroon music scene with this poppy love song entitled "Ekosse" produced by Dijay Karl.

According to his Facebook page, this talent discovered his love for music at a very early age and he grabbed it by the horns. He is a vocalist, songwriter and is able play instruments such as the piano and the guitar.

Based on this new release, his songwriting and vocal skills are on point...that baby Ekosse must be really bad (as in good!) cos she got him singing her name really good!

DULCE FASHION > MEULLARA > SPRING SUMMER 2015 COLLECTION BY IMANE AYISSI

Taking a break from our music posts...pheeew, we wait 6 months for great new music and they seem to come dropping in one week!! Okay so here is something new on the fashion scene. Last week in Paris, world renowned Cameroon designer Imane Ayissi had his collection launch in Paris. We received our invitation but however could not attend *sad face* while browsing we fall on a link with the images of the show combined with some on Imane's Facebook Page.

Imane Ayissi takes a different approach but still staying true to his brand in this new 2015 Spring Summer collection which is dubbed "Meullara". He makes a demi tour on his usual fabric choice opting for something fresh and unique. In it we see a display of African textiles, something from Ghana, from Mali, from Ivory Coast...with large boxy cuts that hides or accentuates, cropped tops, fitted ankle trousers, flared skirts, and very long and short elegant skirts. All together, the collection is fresh, chic and simple. We would have opted for a different hair and makeup styles for the models but it seems Imane was really being rebellious with this collection so we applaud his efforts.

Check out some of the images below...what cool shoes the models had!!

What are your thoughts on the collection? Tell us!!

There is always 2 ways in which these new songs are received by us - either in excitement or in disappointment sometimes wishing we could fully give back our feedback without crushing dreams.

NEW MUSIC > NEW DIRECTION > NEW NAME: AMBÉ RELEASES 'RENDEZ-VOUS'

For over 6 months now the artist AMBÉ formerly known as Denzyl to hit songs Monika and Nanga Boko has resurfaced adorning a new name, a new song and a new musical direction.

We were given the opportunity to pre-listen to this song at the start of the year and it was instantly a song we knew had the potential to be a huge hit. Yes!

Think modern traditional with percussions, strong drums, guitars and sax in a great supporting role all perfectly blended with the artist's vocals to inspire a song that is hopeful, upbeat, uplifting, dancey, easy on the ears...the production of the song indeed is impeccable! Kudos to the producers at Molyko based No Hitz No Recordz studios for a job well done!

Without further ado, here is "Rendez-vous"...we certainly want to hammer...Maserati for our mother, Ferrari for our father...okay let's all go hustle now while giving thanks to God for our lives!! Enjoy!
