The wait is finally over! CIM Records releases the visuals to CoolKid Berka’s hit song titled ‘Seriously’ featuring a host of other appearances from Salatiel, Dijay Karl, Smarty, Nabila and label mate Crispy.

The song, which was produced by Beat Baller who also sang the hook, reveals some of the ills in our society in a very light and humorous manner and the video is no different. Dr Nkeng Stephens, the video director shot in several locations in Buea, taking us through a journey of light heartedness and laughter with very humorous, sometimes unconventional and very original scenes. This is by far our best video by Nkeng Stephens. 100% pure original thought process, shot angles, scene decor etc

JE NE SUIS RIEN SANS TOI YAHWE SAYS GEORGES BREEZY AND LOCKO...

What a pleasant way to kick off this great day which Baba God has made that we should rejoice and be glad in it. We are already in the Sunday worship mood as you can see and we are saying a big thank you to RnB artist Georges Breezy for pairing up with the amazing vocalist Locko to bring us this great worship track entitled Yahweh (Je Ne Suis Rien Sans Toi).

The video kicks off with Psalm 9 v 10 (slight mistake on video) which states..."Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you"

Yahweh is a song which recognises God as the all in all, the one who has been there before we were conceived and even as we grow up. It recognises that without God, we are NOTHING! He looks up from above and watches over us...what a song!

Watch and listen carefully to the great message...thank you boys!

Wishing you all dear DC readers a great week ahead.

ON VA GERER BY MR LEO; A TALE OF LOVE AND HOPE...

Alpha Better RecordsMr Leo is back with another touching love song. On Va Gerer video script portrays a story every Cameroonian can relate to because of its common occurrence in our community.

It recounts the tale of a girl who gets sent out of her parents’ home because she falls pregnant for her boyfriend while still at school. The boyfriend, judged by the girl’s father as a ‘banga’ smoker because of his dreadlocked looks, goes out of his way to take great care of his girlfriend until the birth of their baby thereby changing the perception his girlfriend’s father had of him.

Adah Akenji, Njimape Terrence, Mr. Adrenaline and Anurin Nwenembom collaborated to give life to the story in their capacities as video directors. Besides Mr. Leo who plays the major role of the wretched boy, there are cameo appearances from Kameni; the new Alpha Better Records signee who plays the role of Mr Leo’s pregnant girlfriend. Colonel Dickson; CEO of Hotel Residence Carlos who plays the role of Kameni’s father and veteran Cameroonian actor; Otia Vitalis, who plays the role of Mr. Leo’s father.

This song is a symbol of hope in love. As long as love exists in a relationship, there is hope even through the rough patches.

EXPRESSING LOVE AND APPRECIATION; STEVESLIL PRESENTS DIANA...

Steve’Slil has the gift and versatility to effortless switch from one genre to another. After releasing the singles "Ebangha" and "I cut you cafe", the Cameroonian sultry R&B/Afro-pop songstar has gamely resurfaced with a life-enhancing love and marriage story incorporated in a soul-searching song titled "Diana".

He describes "Diana" as a musical marriage between post-independence highlife music and contemporary Afro-pop harmony. In essence, "Diana" embodies the traditional harmonic rhythm which could be dubbed "Palm wine music", married with western instruments.

"Diana" expresses love and appreciation to God (Eta Mandem, thank you...) for giving a beautiful wife who deserves all the sacrifices a man can give just to make her happy; "na with you I go fly, America, Europe, Africa, to Asia coz you be my baby." Steveslil's vocal timbre and delivery perfectly gives the groove the song deserves.

The song was produced by the legendary Emil Ngumbah, directed by Didi Blaise and filmed by Dr Nkeng StephensThe video portrays how matrimonial love can be devoured by the fangs of jealousy and covetousness, quite an intriguing African tale to savour. Watch it below...

NEWS: AU REVOIR VOLKER FINKE! HE IS DISMISSED AS COAH!

Cameroon's football headcoach, the 67 year old German Volker Finker was been dismissed  from the job last 30th October, a decision taken by the executive committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) after Finke is said to have lost popularity with the public.

"People have rejected him", Fecafoot president Tombi A Roko Sidiki stated. "His style of play had become stereotyped, lacking inspiration for the players selected and without any strategy for victory." Sidiki added.

Fecafoot announced on its Twitter page that Alexandre Belinga has been appointed interim headcoach with assistance from Bonaventure Djonkep.

We are just pleased that for once, the Cameroon team can be managed by a Cameroonian. We wish them both luck in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers which kicks off with them playing Niger on the 13th and 17th November.
