GREED, DECEIT, UNFAITHFULNESS; KEMAYO'S TANGLED WEB AS TOLD BY MR LEO...

After teaching us how to love with ‘E Go Better’ and ‘On Va Gerer’, Mr. Leo is thrilling us again with this new video for his song titled ‘Kemayo’, the story of a man who finds himself caught in the web of deceit and unfaithfulness at the detriment of his loving home.

The song exposes the vices that are continuously plaguing our society; unfaithfulness, deceit, greed, and sorcery. Mr. Leo tells the story in French, the Cameroonian way, using adlibs that we can all relate to. It couldn’t have been told any better!

Dr Nkeng Stephens and Artnurin put their creative wits together to bring the story to life through excellent relatable visuals that translate and evoke emotions. You have to watch it!

ARRÉ FINALLY RELEASES OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR LOW WAIST...

Music artist Arré shows us just why he is ready to fully engrave his name proudly and clearly onto the Cameroon music scene as the new Main Musik signee released today his first official video to the song “Low Waist

Why do we love this video so much?
  • The location shots were so on point giving the video a relaxed yet attractive feel that makes the viewer want to keep watching and watching all over again.

  • Did y’all notice how dapper Arré looked? He had that new hair swag complete with assorted relaxed clothing [and a suit too ;)] and his own branded shoes…whoaaa!! Our favourite style definitely has to be the all white sweatshirt and bottom, white always looks beautiful on dark chocolate skin tone!

  • The first video vixen coming out of the pool was a wise choice. She has a great body and her swimming costume was definitely appropriate. The second video vixen’s dress was also a great choice. The gold additions on the shoulder area were damn gorj!

  • The overall acting and dance moves from Arré was altogether great!! The boy can definitely moooove!!

Okay, that’s enough from us, watch it below and enjoy…the video was shot by NS Pictures.

NEW ARTIST ALE MYZ BURNS ALL HER ENEMIES WITH FIRE...

Meet ALE MYZ, a US-based Mamfe born and Limbe raised Cameroonian Afro-pop, Soul/RnB Singer and Songwriter. Her debut song FIRE” is an inspirational song written and composed by herself. It is an afro-pop song written in both English and Pidgin English, which serves to entertain, uplift and inpsire some soul searching. The song is drawn from a personal perspective and also from experiences by friends and family.

The beat was produced by EC Neeba and enhanced by Tam Gaelo, who also recorded, mixed and mastered the song. “As soon as I heard the beat, I knew I could do something unique with it” states Ale Myz

The lyrics are very clear and simple, which eases listening and understanding. Ale Myz also uses a lot of rhyming to make the song pleasant in the ears with a message that is equally straightforward.

Ale Myz says she believes people will love and relate to the song because we all have a common enemy, Satan who seeks our downfall always, and then his agents on earth who are people we see everyday. They smile in front of you and then go behind and visit shrines or hold meetings at night to tie one’s progress or even to kill.

Fire” was premiered at the concert of legendary Cameroonian artist Petit Pays held in Dallas on Sat Nov 21st 2015 in which Ale Myz performed alongside other upcoming Cameroonian artists.  A video release is scheduled for January.

EXPRESSING LOVE AND APPRECIATION; STEVESLIL PRESENTS DIANA...

Steve’Slil has the gift and versatility to effortless switch from one genre to another. After releasing the singles "Ebangha" and "I cut you cafe", the Cameroonian sultry R&B/Afro-pop songstar has gamely resurfaced with a life-enhancing love and marriage story incorporated in a soul-searching song titled "Diana".

He describes "Diana" as a musical marriage between post-independence highlife music and contemporary Afro-pop harmony. In essence, "Diana" embodies the traditional harmonic rhythm which could be dubbed "Palm wine music", married with western instruments.

"Diana" expresses love and appreciation to God (Eta Mandem, thank you...) for giving a beautiful wife who deserves all the sacrifices a man can give just to make her happy; "na with you I go fly, America, Europe, Africa, to Asia coz you be my baby." Steveslil's vocal timbre and delivery perfectly gives the groove the song deserves.

The song was produced by the legendary Emil Ngumbah, directed by Didi Blaise and filmed by Dr Nkeng StephensThe video portrays how matrimonial love can be devoured by the fangs of jealousy and covetousness, quite an intriguing African tale to savour. Watch it below...

MOTHER'S LOVE BY DAPHNE IS AN INFECTIOUSLY BEAUTIFUL SONG. TAKE A LISTEN...

After her summer hit record “Gunshot”, Daphne is about to reintroduce herself on a new track. This song is different in many ways. It’s more Afrocentric. It’s mellow, yet has that dance feel to it. The lyrics are simple and continue to show Daphne as one of the best songwriters of her time. She takes an all too common theme and brings it to life on this track. Mother’s Love” will resonate with almost everyone.

Mother’s Love is an infectiously beautiful song. You will be hooked on first listen! “I reached out to one of the best producers in Cameroon to make this song…PhillBillBeatzThis song means so much to me. It’s with this song that my professional career in music took off. Just like my Mom gave birth to me, this song gave me a career.” Says Daphne

The No Hitz No Recordz ace producer is the architect of this great sound. He uses a heavy baseline, punchy kicks and great guitar strings that complement Daphne’s voice. For the message in the song, the music could not be any better. “PhilBillBeats in my opinion never fails” Daphne gushed.

This song speaks to all the mothers and the children that will always have a shoulder to lean on no matter how old they become. The lyrics are straightforward but Daphne succeeds in packing a lot of emotions into them. Daphne delicately sings in Pidgin, English, French and Bakweri. A mother’s love is so powerful that others may see it as controlling. Listen to it below...

SHE IS A MOTHER, SHE IS A QUEEN, SHE IS A LADY - BLACK WOMAN BY DENISE NAAFA FT SANZY VIANY

The opening lines of the video and her lyrics "black is beautiful" certainly sets the tone for the overall message of this track by Denise Naafa. Together with the vocal help of afro jazz/soul artist Sanzy Viany, the audience is thrown into an appreciation platform where a Black Woman as a mother, a lady and also a queen is reinforced and exalted in a positive way.

The video shot by photographer William Nsai depicts different style trends across the years. That Denise's afro wig though...trop large and it felt like it was the third artist in the video lol!! Watch it below...
