BLICK BASSY'S MUSIC FEATURES ON AN APPLE IPHONE 6 TELEVISION ADVERT...

It was just a few days ago when the song to this Apple iPhone 6 television advert caught our ears and we couldn't help but wonder how very familiar it was. So this evening upon seeing the advert again on television, we embarked on a mini research online and lo and behold the song entitled Kiki is by our very own son Blick Bassy! Watch the advert below...

We contacted Blick and he confirms a deal was signed with Apple and a formal announcement will be made by his team next week. Buy the song here.

BLICK BASSY PAYS HOMAGE TO THE BAMILÉKÉ CHIEFDOM OF WESTERN CAMEROON

Paris based musician Blick Bassy is ready to release his 3rd album entitled AKØ with a special touch that evokes his roots.

Originally from the Bassa tribe, Blick pays a special homage to the chiefdom of the Bamilékés of the Western region of Cameroon through the portrayal of thatched hut houses commonly seen around the palaces.

Take a peek at the released album cover below. The album will be released jointly by Sony/Nø Førmat on April 6th.
