THE PATCHA FOUNDATION TOGETHER WITH MISS CAMEROON USA VINIELLE ACHA-MORFAW TACKLE CANCER...

The Patcha foundation (The Michael and Mauritia Patcha Foundation) is once more helping the community by providing medical supplies and gifts to cancer patients in Cameroon in association with the Miss Cameroon USA organisation. Their objective is to create cancer awareness and to support those already affected by cancer.

The Patcha Foundation Global Ambassador and reigning Miss Cameroon USA 2015/2016, Miss Vinielle Acha-Morfaw; a 21 year old Towson School of Nursing student who aims to pursue a PhD in Nursing and work as a plastic surgery nurse is visiting Cameroon for some charitable functions which will run for 10 days.

During her stay in Cameroon, the beauty queen will make several visits to the local hospitals to encourage cancer patients. She will also be providing gift items and medications to those in need. She will use this opportunity to meet with cancer patients, oncologists, administrators, & government officials to learn more about cancer resources available, the challenges faced by cancer patients, what is being done and what is needed to be done in Cameroon.

She will also hold cancer awareness workshops to empower the community about self-awareness, cancer risks and strategies to improve one’s chances in the fight against the disease. The Queen will also meet the current Miss Cameroon 2015/2016 Miss Jessica Ngoua Nseme to discuss the challenges they both face as a Miss in 2 different environments. In addition, Miss Acha-Morfaw will visit some primary schools in Limbe, where she will emphasise the importance of education and she will hand out school materials donated by Ascovime.

A photo session is scheduled with celebrity photographer Alain Ngann, for which the Miss will be styled by Cameroonian high end fashion designer Anna Ngann of Kreyann (Founder of The K-Walk Fashion show) and top make up artist Irene Azong Wara of Sparkle, using the make up brand Jireh7 Cosmetics, created by a Cameroonian beauty consultant, Audrey.
