Dencia as usual is a trending topic online following the release of the video to her African Energy track. While some have appreciated the positive message and vibe behind the song and video others have had something else to say likening the material to a copy of Rihanna's American Oxygen.
On Twitter this afternoon, one New York based senior writer for an online entertainment site took offence that Dencia included Lupita in her video and accuses Dencia of wanting to "use" Lupita's popularity. Follow their spat below...

that lady should take several seats the Amadou Ahidjo stadium, if Dencia didn't mention Lupita in Her vid it would have been that she is jealous of her achievements, she does and it becomes a whole deal, this hate between us Africans will never end, what she is trying to do is i create rivalry where der isn't, I trust dencia cos she is an ARMY ''DARMY'' Dencia will always be on the news, Lupita made her name last year.B*tch bye.#BOSSLADY# DENCIAFAN4LIFE#.
ReplyDeleteTo nebson237 I totally agree with you! Plus the song is against xenophobia in Africa. And we know how Xenophobia can start when resentment, uncalled rivalry which lend to hate and do not forget these are the ingredients need for our enemies to use and manipulate us into unnecessary wars. GO DENCIA! AND AFRICA UNITED !
