Cameroonian blogger/journalist Dorothée Danedjo has just won the African FOSS Reporter Award 2012.
The award recognises excellence in IT journalism and FOSS (Free & Open Source Software) reporting in Africa. It aims to highlight the impact of FOSS on the development of Africa and recognises an outstanding reporting for a general audience and honours individuals, rather than institutions and publishers.
The award will be presented in Abuja during the 5th African Conference on FOSS and the Digital Commons held from the 19-23 March.
Great job to see such a prize being won by a woman!
