Christine Njeuma Cameroon's first female pilot in this male orientated profession was hired by Cameroon airlines in 2001 as a First Officer and flew the Boeing 737 regularly between Douala and Yaounde and Douala and Malabo in Equatorial Guinea.
She obtained her flying qualifications at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, FL) as well a Master's degree in Airlines Operations and Safety here too. Prior to this, she obtained a BA in French and Spanish at the University of Florida.
After working with Camair for nearly 4 and a half years, she moved to the Canadian Helicopter Corp as a Fixed Wing Pilot / Co Pilot on the Twin Otter DHC-6. Here she lasted nearly 3 years before moving back to Cameroon and working as the First Pilot aboard the Fokker 28 from early this year.

this is one of the best posts so far DC! christy is so inspiring. to think when she told a secondary school teacher that she wanted to be a pilot he laughed at her and said she was just a girl! it pays to believe in urself.

From events in the Bible we can conclude that except if the dream concerns another person; do not share your personal dreams or dreams that foretell your grandeur to others for they will never understand. Very few people really ever believe in others. That is why if we ever rely on others to believe in us before we make the move of our lives we will never make that move because they do not. They wait to join us after we have converted our dream to reality.
