AfroCentriQ-city is the theme of the evening.
As a curator I thought it wise to go on an anthropological journey exploring not just origins (as I am personally, with all due respect, "tired" creating work solely for Black History month, in the sense that I not only wish to dwell on Black History, but want to look into Black Future... if it makes sense) but exploring our present state of being and how we work well with one another, irrespective of origin or belief...insuring a better way to advance together into a possibly better future.

On this evening, QORDz looks at two ends of various spectrums; Fashion Design, Live--Drawing, Photography, Griot / Spoken Word Poetry and Live Music. If we trace back, history was recorded by Live-Drawing artists and Griots... nowadays we've got Moving & Still Images (Film & Photography) to record not just history but the present. Alongside that, comes the Spoken Word Artists who also assist in oral documentation of human beings.

So all artists on that evening will be dissecting this topic from an angle of choice...As a Curator and Performance Artist, I advocate boldness, pushing the threshold of comfortability, for truth is as we know by all means not comfortable 90% of time. This event shall be professionally documented by a TV and Film-Making team.
********************************************************************************
This an opportunity to interact with Art, Culture, Music and the respective Artists presenting the work. It's not just a performance night, but an Art-Showcase, warmly woven to take us all to the next level as everybody is an Artist on this evening. Absolutely everyone.
